Welcome friends

Welcome friends! To the Fig Tree Generation. It would be best if you read this blog in the order that it is written. Start with "In the beginning" and read on through. Everything written in this blog comes from the Bible. I have documented, in God's word, almost everything written. If you need further documentation or explaination, please don't hesitate to ask me.          This is a work by Pastor Arnold Murray, the Shepherds Chapel, who is now home with the Lord.

The true pronunciation and spelling of the Holy Name has been all but lost to His people, Israel, down through the years, probably because of an erroneous rendering of Leviticus 24:16, from which it was inferred that the mere utterance of the Holy Name was a capital offense, when in fact verse 16 states: "And he that blasphemeth the Name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death."  His Sacred Name should be used in prayer and in teaching by His elect.  Psalms 9:10.. "And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee: for Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee."  If you really want a blessing, seek Him by His Sacred Name.  Now before before we discuss His Name as it is explained in His Holy Word, let me mention that I personally feel it is wrong to place the Sacred Name in public view.  Example:  on a building of worship in view of strangers, who may not understand or care, and might scoff or mock.

Now many teachers draw an incorrect conclusion from Exodus 3:14, but YHVH gives five witnesses in the book of Esther for a simple solution to the correct pronunciation and spelling of His Name.  There is no confusion.  This Name was revealed to Moses by the Almighty when He appeared in the burning bush.  You'll remember Moses was chosen to deliver Israel, and the Holy Name constituted his credentials.

Let us examine Exodus 3:13.. "And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you, and they shall say to me, What is His name?  What shall I say unto them?"

Now first, a technical explanation concerning His answer in verse 14:
:And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM:"
(I AM THAT I AM = ehyeh asher ehyeh)
"and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."    There is no doubt that this passage indicates the etymology of the word "Yahveh."  It is, in fact, the key to the mystery of the Holy Name.  Thus, we must consider the original Hebrew for interpretation.
     In Hebrew, יהוה
     In English, Yahaveh, or Yahveh

Now, regarding the five references to the Divine Name, which is found four times as "YAHVEH" and one time as "EHYEH" (I AM THAT I AM) in the book of Esther.  Back in Deuteronomy 31:16-18, Yahveh declared His people would forsake Him and in His anger He would hide His face from them.  This comes to pass in the book of Esther.  But keep in mind that though He hid His face, He allowed it to be written that the Kenite would come to power to fulfill the negative part of His plan.  You might say then, He was guiding them without their knowledge, or secretly so to speak.  The same as His Sacred Name is hidden.  Yet it is recorded in the Holy Word.  A great many people are not aware that the Divine Name is to be found in the book of Esther.

The Massorah (foot and side notes in the Hebrew manuscripts) uses a rubric to call attention to the hidden name.  There are three known ancient manuscripts in which the acrostic (the arrangement of letters in which the Name is hidden) is written majuscular  in all five instances, showing the four consonants Y H V H in bold and prominent print.  There is no way, however, that the "Y" can become a J, which is not a letter in Hebrew.  There is no way the "V" can become a W.  The Kenites stole a birthright by calling themselves Jews.  Let us not contaminate the Holy Name.  The acrostics are found in Esther 1:20, 5:4, 5:13. 7:5 and 7:7. As an example, in Esther 5:4......

     Y-abo                  Let-come
     H-ammelek          the-king
     V-ehaman            and-Haman
     H-ayyam              this-day

The acrostic found in Esther 7:5, shown below, locks in the etymology (base root) of the Divine Name, and also stipulates that Yahveh was present:
      HEBREW            Converted to ENGLISH
      hu-E                    Who-is-he
      ze-H                    This-man
      vee-Y                  and-where
      ze-H                    is-this-man
        Hidden in these majuscular letters:
          EHYEH - I AM
Both He and His Name were present!

Finally, I'd like to draw your attention to the acrostic in Psalms 96:11.
     HEBREW            Converted to ENGLISH

     H-ashshamayim     the-heavens
     V-ethagel              and-let-rejoice
     H-aarez                 the-earth
The Massorah has a special rubric, also calling attention to this acrostic.  So how can man dispute it?  The Almighty has told you YHVH (or Yahveh) is His Sacred Name, which is both protected and preserved in the sacred original manuscripts.

Yahshua, the Christ, did not use the Sacred Name Yahveh before the multitudes because they would not have understood.  This is the same reason it should not be used before the multitudes of today, Christ used the base root of the Sacred Name, "I AM" many times.  He knew you, the elect, would understand His credentials.  I AM - I will be what I will be (or become,) or I AM eternally.

    Yahshua said:
I AM the bread of life. John 6:35, 48, 51
I AM the door of the sheep.  John 10:7, 9
I AM the light of the world.  John 8:12
I AM the good shepherd.  John 10:11, 14
I AM the resurrection and the life.  John 11:25
I AM the true and living way.  John 14:6
I AM the true vine.  John 15:1, 5

Note the seven examples.  Seven denotes spiritual perfection.  It is the seal of the Holy Spirit's work.  He is the Giver of life.  He is the Bread that sustains the soul, the Light that comforts the world, the only Door to eternal life, the Shepherd of all that will enter, the Resurrection to our souls, the true and only Way to the true vine of YAHVEH.  Yahshua sums up the matter in John 8:58, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I AM."  Praise Yahveh!
